Thursday, July 30, 2020 · 7:00 PM – 8:00 PMPast event

Organized by BDPNN

In disaster response, leaders need to think fast, integrate new information, formulate unique solutions, and act in the face of uncertainty.  In other words – improvise! Bringing together research on the reality of improvisation in disaster response with experiential activities, this online (Zoom) workshop supports individuals and groups taking steps to become stronger improvising leaders.

Presenter: Susan Snyder is a Lecturer at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a Civilian Trainer for the City of Berkeley CERT program. Susan utilizes her background in counseling psychology, disaster preparedness training, and theatrical improvisation to create interactive, impactful educational experiences.
