Our Mission

We work to equitably support Berkeley neighborhoods and individuals who live or work in Berkeley to respond to large-scale emergencies. We do this through coalition building, bringing in outside expertise, and sharing experiences.

The Berkeley Disaster Preparedness Neighborhood Network (BDPNN) — also known as “The Network” — is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 2009 by neighborhood leaders.
